The greatest leaps are made when you step out of your comfort zone.
People who reach their goals against all odds inspire me. So it’s no surprise I’m working on several goals all the time as a Realtor®, writer, athlete and mom. Hello. I’m Kira. I’ve been an East Bay resident for over twenty-five years, joining Winkler Real Estate Group in 2012. Since then I’ve helped clients on both sides of the transaction; I’m humbled by their feedback. They tell me I have an uncanny ability to keep everyone calm and reassured.
When representing sellers, my organizational skills make the process manageable and minimize stress. I hone in on my client’s budget and goals and then manage a team of professionals to enhance each property and maximize its potential. When representing buyers, I identify home search priorities and protect their interests. I listen closely, and then show them how to place a strong offer that will stand above the crowd in a competitive market. Both buyers and sellers appreciate my extensive research abilities and my willingness to persistently dig for information. Importantly, I help clients navigate their personal relationships harmoniously during the transition.
I have strong people skills and a keen eye for detail gleaned from five years’ as an editor of The East Bay Monthly. Prior I was co-owner of Grand Times, a magazine for active retirees, and in that capacity interviewed and wrote cover stories on senior celebrities, including B.B. King, Dr. Ruth, Jack LaLanne, Walter Cronkite and Rosa Parks. I’ve also aired numerous “Perspectives” essays on KQED radio. I am a Regents’ Scholar and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UC Berkeley.
In addition to working as a Realtor, I am a writer, athlete (think sprint triathlons and swims in the Bay!) and community volunteer. When not busy with clients, keyboard, or sneakers, you can find me hiking with my husband, two sons and our dog.
I love the working environment at Winkler Real Estate Group because it’s like a family, in all the best ways.
