In my early years, I Iearned about resilience. Born in rural New York, I suffered an early loss: my dad passed when I was two. Mom and I traveled by train to sunny California, where I grew up. My stepdad, an artist and real estate developer, taught me aesthetic sensibility. Little did I know how much that would influence my work today.

Starting in middle school, it was back and forth between the coasts.I was fortunate to tackle math and chemistry at Columbia but chose UC Berkeley to finish my undergrad work, going on to earn my MA in Cultural Anthropology. After a time overseas studying in the Middle East, I returned to the US and focused on Pre-Med requirements. This effort morphed into years of volunteer service at the Berkeley Free Clinic. 

Fluent in Spanish and French, I enjoyed working with people from different cultures. Still do; always have. When the opportunity to get my Realtor’s license presented itself, I jumped at the chance and have never looked back. My early affinity for math and numbers never disappeared. I LOVE negotiating. It’s my strong suit. And while peers say I am exceptionally kind and considerate, my passion is strategizing to get the most for my clients. Tech-savvy, I’m able to leverage the latest technological advances, too. 

For decades I’ve been working with buyers and sellers throughout the East Bay, from Piedmont and Glenview to Point Richmond. While most of my sales have been in the Berkeley/Oakland market, I’ve also sold properties in Kensington, Piedmont, Albany, El Cerrito, Emeryville, Richmond, Moraga, El Sobrante, San Pablo, Crockett, Alameda, and San Francisco. Quickly evaluating a home’s indoor/outdoor assets, I enthusiastically share my expertise, from environmental thinking to landscape design.

I know that selling or buying real estate can be a huge decision. My real estate practice is grounded in education. I feel it’s important that my clients learn about the market, and feel comfortable asking questions. I am dogged and fierce in standing up for what is fair and right, and am tenacious in pursuing my clients’ dreams.
