Hi, I’m Susan Riggle, a Midwestern transplant by way of Southern California. Once I landed in the Bay Area, I knew I was home. For almost two decades I have facilitated great real estate investments for buyers and sellers all over the Bay Area.

I obtained my license at the same time I was busy with new twins, one of whom has a severe disability. What a time to start a new career! Not. So, I continued working as a data analyst and computer programmer (for the steady paycheck) and began helping my co-workers buy houses. As much as I liked designing data systems, I loved helping people get a home and build a future.

Now I practice real estate full time.  I especially love doing home research and working with an inspector to see what’s what… I like getting into structural details to ensure my real estate deals have a strong foundation, literally and figuratively. I also work with Living Unlimited, a small nonprofit I helped found that assists families of children with disabilities by creating long-term, safe and secure housing for disabled adults.

I searched far and wide to find a real estate firm that saw its customers and personnel as more than just a source of income. I am so happy to have found Winkler Real Estate Group. Not only does the name Winkler make the name Riggle seem ordinary, it is also a name that has earned enormous respect and admiration from peers and customers alike. I am more than grateful to work with such an agency.

Thinking outside the box is my superpower, especially when others say something cannot be done. My favorite part of real estate is the hunt: finding a sturdy home for my clients and thinking of inventive ways to accomplish their purchase. I must admit that first-time buyers hold a warm place in my heart. In my world nothing beats handing the keys over to a family who has said “we’ll never be able to do this.” Not surprisingly, my other passion is working with families who have children with special needs. Living Unlimited has established a ranch in northern Sonoma County and we are currently in the process of launching a farm in southern Sonoma County. Our next project will probably be an apartment complex for the more urban-inclined. There is great satisfaction in working together to provide a safe, secure and permanent home for our special children.

I am determined, highly organized, and thorough. My business is blessed by clients who appreciate my unique blend of analysis, fun, and drive. I look forward to receiving your call.
