I am Ramon, a good human being first, a good real estate salesperson, second.
I was born in Colombia, South America, in 1958. I lived in my native city Barranquilla, until I was 18 years old. I moved to Venezuela at that point. I worked as an accountant in Caracas, the capital. Fabulous memories of my youth….
I arrived in New York City in September of 1982. I worked as a dishwasher and a restaurant’s night cleaner for a few months. Those were the only jobs I could get, because I did not speak English. I enjoyed these jobs as well, believe it or not!
In May of 1983, I met my best friend, partner and husband of 36 years, Michael. He taught me lots of things, including English. We moved to San Francisco in 1988. We now live, for the past 20 years, in a little Oasis in Central Berkeley, surrounded by beautiful trees and the Magical Strawberry Creek.
My Real Estate career started in 2000, in San Francisco. I joined then Prudential California Realty in Cow Hollow. I have experienced the good times and the bad times of the Real Estate Industry. I can say with certainty, that I have enjoyed every single transaction since then.
For listings, presentation and marketing is everything! Every detail is important as far as I am concerned. It is the only way I will get the highest price for the property. And I usually do!
For buyers, finding the ideal property and working hard during the process, is everything! That includes getting familiar with the current market, writing winning offers, being a good negotiator and making everyone involved feel like a winner!
I am easy to communicate with, ethical, honest, professional yet friendly and down-to-earth.
My clients, sellers and buyers, always have the final word, on all transactions. My job is to help them accomplish their goals successfully. Please see what they have to say about me, by googling Ramon Ariza Realtor Yelp Reviews.
I joined Winkler Real Estate Group in December 2019. I did so because I think Danny Winkler is “as good as it gets” as a broker and as a human being. I also joined because my good friend Laura Martell has been with the company for many years, and she, herself, is one of the best realtors in the business.
When I am not working, I am usually at home taking care of Michael, Elsa (our Italian Greyhound demanding creature), Micina (our sweet cat that thinks she is a dog), Faygele (our noisy Caique parrot), feeding the Squirrels, the birds and the turkeys in our backyard, or working in our serene garden and the magical Strawberry Creek.
I would love to chat with you if you are considering selling or buying in the East Bay or San Francisco.
I would be honored to be your Realtor!
