Whether preparing a home for sale, coordinating necessary repairs, or creating great marketing materials, my satisfaction comes from solving client challenges. My job is to ensure that my clients achieve their real estate goals.

Hello. I’m Gloria; foodie, reader, traveler, and problem solver.

I came to Berkeley to attend Cal and stayed.  As an activist I got involved in the anti-war movement. As an entrepreneur, I earned one of the very first street vending licenses on Telegraph Ave., selling hand-crocheted hats and tie-dyed T-shirts.  Later I founded Spring Mountain Hot Tubs and Energy Systems, selling recycled wine storage vats, solar hot water panels, and convection water heaters. Finally, while searching for a home to buy, I found my true calling and obtained my real estate license from the State of California. For over 30 years I have been a Realtor serving the East Bay. 

I have long been active in civic government and education. Having served as a director of the Oakland-Berkeley Association of Realtors, and currently active with the Bridge Association of Realtors, I know how government relations evolve and shape housing policy. As a former board member of the Northeast Berkeley Neighborhood Association, I worked with elected officials. I was a longtime Trustee of Ecole Bilingue, the East Bay French American School and am still a member of the Alumni Committee.

You can see I feel strongly about community involvement; I’m involved with several non-profits, including the Community Foundation. My activist roots are core to my being. I fundraise for education, housing, and equality.

Working at WREG is fabulous. The company is diverse in every way:  age, race, background, and experience. Team support and congeniality abound. The staff is skilled and competent. When not at work, you’ll find me trying new recipes, hiking in the woods, and tackling puzzles. A committed environmentalist, I recycle or compost almost everything. I make a mean lemon bar and am proud to be a charter member of the Berkeley Chocolate Club. Sharing these treats with my husband, three children, and two grandchildren is a joy.
