Corinne loves helping first-time home buyers make their dream home a reality, by truly listening to them and making them comfortable with the buying process and real estate trends. She writes winning offers based on her knowledge of the local housing market.  Corinne enjoys problem solving to overcome challenges and has the skills to move the transaction forward to closing.  Her focus is to make the home buying process as efficient and seamless as possible.  She is always in touch with her clients to provide services and advice even beyond the close of escrow.  Reviews from previous first-time home buyers show how much Corinne invests herself in her clients’ projects and continues to help them even after move-in.  Corinne has assisted buyers with the purchase of single family homes, condominiums, new construction and Below Market Rate (BMR) properties in Richmond Annex, Richmond, Berkeley, Oakland and El Cerrito.

I am very fortunate to be working with Daniel Winkler. His thoughtful and ethical approach sets the highest standards for this firm and I am so pleased to be a part of it. It is extremely important to me to work with and for people who share the same values because our clients trust us to guide them through the exhilarating and often challenging process of buying or selling a home.

If you are looking for a realtor who is compassionate, diligent and tenacious, please read Corinne’s reviews and then give her a call.  She is a community builder who co-founded two French immersion schools in Oakland, motivated two neighborhoods to get involved in earthquake preparedness in Berkeley and launched a gardening club in El Cerrito. Corinne loves to have an active role in her community.

What is your dream home?  Please call Corinne to make it a reality.

A recent testimonial:

Our experience with Corinne literally could not have been better. She is a wonderful listener, great at getting a sense of her clients’ tastes and the kind of homes they want to see. She does not impose her own preferences but works hard to understand and respond to the client’s. Corinne also strongly believes in helping her clients understand the market and the (challenging) process of buying a home in the Bay area. She explains everything fully, and uses house visits (which she schedules — giving her own time — outside of open houses, so clients have more time and space to look carefully) as a way of educating clients about the small but revealing things they should be looking for.  She teaches clients how to read documents, asking questions to make sure we understand key disclosures. Corinne is also alert to external events that could affect the housing market and the financing process, in our case, explaining to us the way that the Silicon Valley Bank crisis might affect mortgage rates and different mortgage lenders. When it is time to bid, Corinne is an active, resourceful, and determined advocate for her clients: getting information on comparables, asking the selling agent to estimate the number of bids, offering well-grounded advice about what is likely to comprise a winning bid.  Thanks to her remarkable guidance, we came very close on our first bid (and might well have gotten the house, had we agreed to re-bid and raise our offer), and bought a house we adore on our second bid. (Obviously some luck was involved, but as total newcomers to the process, we found Corinne’s guidance to be vital). Once we had a contract, Corinne’s efforts continued — helping us prepare for the closing, making sure all documents were in order, connecting us with contractors to do the updates on the house the we had envisioned. In addition to all this, she is friendly, funny, and so knowledgeable that every house tour is a delight. We feel so lucky to have worked with Corinne, and to know someone who is so incredibly good at what they do.
