Jennifer Hansen-Romero is a 3rd generation Albany resident with a genuine love of her local community. Her family is featured in the 100 year anniversary book about the history of Albany, where many of her family members still reside. After growing up and graduating from Albany High School, Jennifer lived and worked in many Bay Area cities, primarily in Alameda and Contra Costa County, eventually finding her way back to the city she has always considered home. A true Northern Californian, with life-long area knowledge and community resources, Jennifer has worked as an outside sales representative in various industries. Through sales, Jennifer has developed a love of working with people, not just establishing clients, but developing cherished friendships.
Since 2012, Jennifer has also worked closely with her husband’s general contracting company, which provides her with hands-on expertise and enables her to see a home’s true potential. She understands the importance of alleviating clients’ anxieties by sharing her insights and knowledge, and by keeping in constant communication to ensure that every step of the home buying/selling process is handled with the utmost care. Jennifer has a warm and friendly personality, and she can easily navigate a client through the complicated real estate process with an attention to detail that puts people at ease.
Jennifer is married with two children and is an active volunteer in groups and functions throughout the community including Albany Little League where she has been a board member and fundraising chairperson since 2009. Her unparalleled organizational skills, enthusiastic involvement and love of community make her the “go-to” person when a job needs to get done right. When I first started on my property search I contacted two different agents and arranged viewings with both of them. One of those agents was Jenn, the other was a very highly reviewed Redfin recommendation. Unfortunately for me I decided to go with the other agent as I contacted them first. Six months later, I was still looking for a property and my relationship with my agent was, at best, tepid. I decided that a change needed to be made and that change was making Jenn my agent again.
One week and two viewings later, I had found my new home. Jenn suggested a range of offers that she would have at hand and put them forwards as she saw fit based on the circumstances on the offer date. My offer was successful and Jenn worked tirelessly to push the deal through.
