Hello, I’m Itonya, AKA “Real Estate by Itonya”. After earning an Associate Degree in Property Management from Merritt College and a BA in Youth Ministry from Patten University, I have spent 20+ years guiding and encouraging property owners, property managers, and tenants alike in one of the highest rental markets in the country, the San Francisco Bay Area. Quickly filling sought-after properties with qualified tenants, I became an expert in the field of rental property leasing.

That was my start selling real estate. Now I help people buy their dream home or investment property with the same excellent service I provide to rental clients. Working with me, you become an informed buyer or seller. I offer a free virtual Homebuyer Seminar every 3rd Thursday of the month where special guests talk about the homebuying process. As a CCRM (California-Certified Residential Manager) and a member of several real estate trade associations and community organizations, I bring a broad range of experience to my real estate practice. I have also owned and managed rental properties. In my former role as the Regional Assistant for BRE Properties, Inc., I became even more familiar with Bay Area neighborhoods. Clients know they can count on my market expertise. There’s no stress; I take them by the hand as a guide and collaborator for the entire buying or selling process.

The nonprofit I founded is called “Our Youth Matter”. We demonstrate love to youth by holding five events a year to help lessen the financial burdens of families in Oakland. Raised in Oakland and the church, I feel strongly about giving back. When not working or volunteering, I love listening to music, eating good food, hanging out with longtime friends, and traveling. I also enjoy giving back with family; after dinner we love watching movies and playing games together. I have one adult son and a recent empty nester.
